Snoqualmie Valley
Garden Club
As a 501c3, SVGC’s mission is to inform, educate, and inspire our members and the community in the art, science, and joy of gardening, while fostering a commitment to environmental stewardship.
Many thanks …
… to everyone who stopped by the hydrangea sale to show their support. It was a huge success!
We’re also excited to welcome seven new members who joined during the event. We’re so glad you’re here.
A big shoutout to Jeff Warren State Farm for generously providing us with such a great spot in Downtown Snoqualmie. It made all the difference.
Tues. July 8th
6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Leola’s Garden
(refer to the July newsletter for location)
Get ready to take a walk on the wild (and slightly overgrown) side with Leola for HYDRANGEAS 101!!
Please arrive by 6:00 PM with an appetizer to share. At 6:30 - We’ll kick off with some hydrangea basics, and Leola will share her love (okay, obsession) for these fabulous plants. Her goal is for you to leave knowing more than when you came.
There are over 300 hydrangeas in the yard—yes, really—and Leola still keeps a hydrangea lust list. You'll probably be starting a list too. Bring a notebook. Be sure to dress for the weather as we’ll be outside, and insect repellant is always a good idea.
Mark your calendar …
for our upcoming Garden Chat meetups!

July 15 - 2:00pm at Mt. Si Senior Center
Garden Chat is a casual get together for SVGC members and their friends to discuss all topics about gardening.
Whatever you need help with: shrubs, trees, edible plants, perennials, annuals, problems, solutions, ideas, gardens to visit, tools, books, videos, websites, etc., we're here to discuss, offer support and solutions. For more details, visit our calendar of events here.
